Alternative lav clip for DPA 4060's?

I have the DPA 4060's and got the DPA lav clips, but the way they're designed (or perhaps the way I'm designed) I have a really hard time gripping them to open them to put on talent.  Does anyone have any suggestions for a great alternative lav clip that will work with the DPA 4060's and perhaps be easier to grip open?  Thanks!

Are you hiding the lav on the talent?

I'm sort of assuming not by your post. If not, I like to put lavs in a Garfield Hush Lav and then use this clip to attach it to the talent's shirt/coat/tie:

The clip is large and easy to open and grip. The wire that holds the lav is meant for a much larger mic though, which is why the Hush Lav is necessary. I use this for ADR sessions all the time and it works great. I mostly use it with COS-11s, but I think a 4060 would work fine too.

I had exactly the same issue with the dpa clips for my 4060's so i stopped using them. I did however come across an alternate clip also made by dpa that is much easier to grip open and is designed for the 4060.. very happy with these.. http://www.dpamicrophones.com/accessories/holder-for-dscreet-omnidirectional-microphones

The DPA Clips you use are a pain to work with. I got a few and most of them are just too stiff and fiddly, while others (e.g. the white ones) are not that stiff.

I like the Sennheiser clips ( http://de-de.sennheiser.com/zubehoer--klammer ). They're easy to use and you can rotate the lav at 90 degree.

Only downside: the tiny clip that is then mounted in the clamp is designed for the thicker cable of an MKE2, so you'd have to thicken the DPA cable with a bit of tape where the clip sits. But apart from that it's a good and quick-to-use alternative.
