mikewest Posted April 23, 2017 Report Posted April 23, 2017 Gee would be $9.95 from a Home Store etc! mike Quote
laurenbanjo Posted April 23, 2017 Report Posted April 23, 2017 It's a great idea and I need one of these for sure but jeez, $185? Quote
Rick Reineke Posted April 23, 2017 Report Posted April 23, 2017 I modded an wooden crate one point to hold my boom, but the grips put it in the truck and that's last I saw of it. $185 is a little steep. Quote
ryanpeds Posted April 23, 2017 Report Posted April 23, 2017 Yeah, $185 is steep. For some reason all of the boom boxes in the world are expensive. I made my own for about $20 Quote
fieldmixer Posted April 24, 2017 Report Posted April 24, 2017 Thats what made in the USA costs. Quote

Mobilemike Posted April 24, 2017 Report Posted April 24, 2017 Somebody should tell K-tek they missed April Fools' Day by a couple of weeks Quote

At least you know how much to put down on the 'lost and damaged' form when your DIY 1 goes missing on the grips truck. Quote
VASI Posted April 24, 2017 Author Report Posted April 24, 2017 $185 is a bit pricey. Does it have a sandbag or something to not flip? Quote

VASI Posted April 24, 2017 Author Report Posted April 24, 2017 I am wondering about the balance. Putting your boompole there; going for water, you found it at the floor, is no bueno and no safety for the rest crew. Quote

Well I don't have the K-Tek, but I do have the Remote Audio one, which is a different concept, and it's shaped quite differently, but in about 6-7 years of using it, it has never fallen over. And it has become a very valuable part of my kit. It's very light, too. Oh, and it's even more expensive Quote
