Joe Mullins
Has anyone tried charging SWIT S-8073N NP-1 batteries on the IDX JL-2Plus charger? These batteries offer higher capacity, 2 d-taps, and are cheaper than the traditional IDX NP-1's.
Glen Deakin
Won't work well sprta. The jl2 plus has specific contacts which give extra reading to the charger. The swit batteries may charge but the charger may not know when enough is enough like with the IDX batteries

Philip Perkins
The Swit charger (2 bay, sequential) is only about $190, and it seems to work fine with those simple orange NP1s....
Constantin
I'm using the IDX K2 (I think it's called) charger and it works fine on non-IDX batteries. And it stops charging when they are full, and, more importantly, it can charge a fully depleted battery, something my no name charger can't achieve
