drpro
Ran across this small speaker/amp/power source. Might be useful for client monitor or whatever. Not exactly cheap, but love the fact the twelve gauge rounds won't hurt it. Made by US Vets. I have no business interest in the product or company. Just plain fun. http://www.ammoaudio.com/

They built targets into each of the speakers ... Asking for trouble! Jez
Mungo
The ultimate survival tool for bad DJ's. "The music's so bad I shoot your speakers!" Seriously, that volt meter is a very very good idea, especially for location work.
Peter Mega
I have one of these with a wireless PTT hand mic for location and VOG. runs on NP1's. Has all the inputs and metering, battery levels etc. sounds great with plenty of grunt. This is the ultimate in my opinion. https://en-au.sennheiser.com/lsp-500-pro

Peter Mega
Yeah I know! I have the roller case and the rugged cover too. The whole lot cost me an arm and a leg but it's worth it. One of the best bits of kit I own.
The Immoral Mr Teas
More so than the classic Nagra unit (OK thirty years on and the TX RX...) THAT bugger was expensive too! Jez
codyman
Turning ordinary items into speakers is somewhat of a trend right now. A seller at my mom's vintage market comes and sells things like these (he also does custom builds - he'll put a speaker and amp into damn near anything for you) every month.
