Erob
I'm sure this has been talked about already on this site, but my searches haven't come up with much. I'm looking at getting a set of lectrosonics and I'm curious about power solutions people have used for their bags. I'm going to go with two duel receivers, so I'm wondering what the best method is to power them in my bag. Thanks!
Constantin
Hook them up to your bag's power supply
Gordonmoore1
The SR series receivers with either the SREXT or the SRAES end plates will allow easy externally powering options - the SRAES plate allows you to send AES digital straight to your mixer if it has AES/EBU inputs. Hi Gordon, I looked at description on your site for AES output. Just want to be clear... can it output analog too, thus the pair of TA3? karlw
Robert - yes, the SRAES3 can output either analog or digital. There is a switch on the side to make the choice of what comes out of the TA3 connectors.
Erob
That for the replays! Much appreciated, I was wondering if any of you have ever used a distro unit like the remote audio BDS v4? I'll link to it below. I was also looking at the quad pack but I'm trying to see if there is a cheaper solution as well. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/522500-REG/Remote_Audio_BDSPACK_BDS_v3_Battery_Distribution.html I'm currently also looking into the SREXT or the SRAES plates. We use a zoom f8 and are currently trading in our G3's for some Lectro's so I'm trying to put together the best package as we speak.

I don't use that particular one, but in a bag situation I still run with some NPs distributed through a PSC Powerstar Mini Triple Play. http://professionalsound.com/specs/pwrStarMiniTriple.htm I love distribution boxes, they're small, simple, and power whatever might end up in my bag on a shoot. John Blankenship
There are numerous discussions about power distro systems here. What's important is to think of different ways to search. For instance, search for full model designations of Remote Audio BDS systems, such as "BDSv4". More diligent searching will reveal many pertinent threads.
