Kevin Sorensen
Does anybody have experience with changing the frequencies on these units when in "hostile" RF environments? I am looking for the methods that are quick and efficient for finding a clean signal. It seems like you need at least to people to do this. Any short cuts? Thanks in advance, KKS. RPSharman
Kevin, Honestly, I think the best suggestion is to have at least one scannable receiver. That way you can scan the airwaves to find frequencies, then re-tune your other receivers to those channels. Otherwise, the only thing you can do is change channels a few increments at a time until there is less RF action on the unit's LEDs, but it does require pulling them out of the rack, etc. Robert
Kevin Sorensen
Thanks Robert. Do you mean something in the 400 or 411 range and /or what would be a good model designation to look to buy used. KKS.
John Blankenship
Both the 201 and 211 series would also do the job. John B.
Kevin Sorensen
Thanks John, good to know. Luckily my rack mount is accessible from the rear. KKS.
