bmfsnd
A few nights ago, trying to land a single 30 min take in a theatre - cranes, steadicams, dollys...... all wireless (some plants). Had Ferdinand Almalvez as my boom op, and Kevin Bellante as my utility guy. Great team

Olle Sjostrom
Like wrap! Funny story. This job is a national TV commercial for BK "low budget". I was glad or was a burger company so we wouldn't have subway tunas for lunch.

Philip Perkins
Robo Cams: The first location shoot I've done with them. Built-in cameras, all controlled by a single operator, like at a TV station. This is at the SF JCC, for the Rova Saxophone Quartet w/ Gino Robair and live video by Ikue Mori. (And no camera operators.) Kind of weird, actually. philp

Jim Feeley
The view from Friday's office was pretty dull. But right outside the office stood a statue of Yoda, and nearby two local heros: Eadweard Muybridge Then a hundred yards down: Philo Farnsworth Gave me a little more respect for George, actually. pkautzsch
Last year on a fairytale shoot in South Tyrol (northern Italy) - still the old cart with antennas on separate stands. My boom op Daniel waiting for the B cam op. Two Alexas, most wide/tight. This was one of very few occasions we didn't need the MKH 816. This spring we did a loooong dolly shoot. Picture from a crappy phone camera. Another set was a large entrance hall. Not so large with all the lighting accessories in there. Last, me in my office at a Chinese restaurant in Munich. bmfsnd
Traveling (research) across China now - Shanghai, Hangzhou, Xitang, Xi'an, Beijing ... working while capturing stereo ambiences for my own library. Cicadas are on full blast. Great tones of high-ceiling train stations, busy night markets, crowds yelling, traffic on traffic, and even open rice fields with a bullet train whizzing by in the distance. I even met up with Cloud while in Shanghai! Pic is Xitang, a traditional river city by day, music clubs and bars by night.
