S4Sound
Hey this is my first time posting here, so I apologies if I'm posting in the wrong section. I'm a field mixer in Australia and have a shoot in Hawaii in April. My kit is primarily made up of block 26 transmitters and receivers. My question: Which frequencies are illegal in the US (in particular Hawaii) and will this effect my block 26 set up? Thank you in advance for any and all help! Johnny Karlsson
Block 26 remains legal for about two more years in the US.

Yes, but...depending on where you live and the rollout of the expanded frequency use by cell companies, those "legal" blk. 26 blocked units may or may not be stepped on .. Rick Reineke
According to the FCC, the 600 MHz range is 'legal' for wireless mic users until July 2020. T Mobile is however using it some areas of the continental US already.

Alejandro Reyes
Hello there S4Sound, I found this video a few days ago that contains all the info you need to know about frequency 600. This should give a better idea about what's going on in the States. It also has a pdf of the presentation itself I hope this helps.
