13324
Was idly browsing Aaton Digital’s website when I came across this survey they recently posted. No explanation, though curious how this comes soon after the Audio Ltd. acquisition by Sound Devices. Accompanying image from their social media: Edited May 3, 2018 by Daniel Ignacio Realized my original title might be misleading.
IronFilm
We saw mixers and recorders integrated together, I bet the next step is integrating wireless into them until they too become the standard everywhere.
Constantin
Maybe I am not reading this right, but I am fairly certain that they don’t want to actually integrate the receiver into the Cantar only the interface, much like the SuperSlot thing Sound Devices offer. jason porter
Integrated wideband receivers with emulators for all of the typical wireless systems would be great! Maybe a royalty deal with the wireless companies for providing emulator support.
Derek H
If it can emulate n64 and I can play Goldeneye on it I’m all in.

You read it exactly right. That's why the ad copy says "...wireless receivers interface..." Best Regards, Larry Fisher
Jim Rillie
I replied to the survey, and suggested Lectro for consideration, since many of us all over the world are using Lectro. And yes, the dual receivers are the ones that make sense for this concept.
Eric Toline
Somewhere in the dusty part of my memory I seem to recall that15-20 years ago Sennheiser offered an integrated mixer, recorder, wireless unit that was about $10-$12,000. Does anyone have a better memory of the unit?
drpro
You are right Eric. I saw that unit, thought what a really great idea, just way out of reach at the time. Rather like clothing fashions old is new again.
LarryF
I remember sucking in a deep breathe when I saw the price and our stuff wasn't bargain basement. I don't remember a recorder though. Best, Larry F

Does anyone have a better memory of the unit? It was mixer with four rxs and a transmitter for a hop. No recorder - This was awhile ago- 20 years .....?. Wisycom made some sort of portable “quad box” rig as well. My guess is that these were just prototypes or one offs for a specific application.
