Was idly browsing Aaton Digital’s website when I came across this survey they recently posted. No explanation, though curious how this comes soon after the Audio Ltd. acquisition by Sound Devices.

Realized my original title might be misleading.

Maybe I am not reading this right, but I am fairly certain that they don’t want to actually integrate the receiver into the Cantar only the interface, much like the SuperSlot thing Sound Devices offer.

You read it exactly right. That's why the ad copy says "...wireless receivers interface..."

Best Regards,

Somewhere in the dusty part of my memory I seem to recall that15-20 years ago Sennheiser offered an integrated mixer, recorder, wireless unit that was about $10-$12,000. Does anyone have a better memory of the unit?

It was mixer with four rxs and a transmitter for a hop.   No recorder -   This was awhile ago- 20 years .....?.   Wisycom made some sort of portable “quad box” rig as well.    My guess is that these were just prototypes or one offs for a specific application.
