Zaxcom Deva 5.8 Track Name Issue

Has anyone experienced an issue with the Zaxcom Deva 5.8 in which track names on front panel changed from 1 thru 4 to WXYZ ? It also changed the names on the headphone screen.

I figured it out pretty easy actually. Go to menu/setup/ operating mode/ B Format - off.

 

not sure what it’s for but when it’s on the first 4 tracks are wxyz instead of 1234 on the main screen
