JonG
I did a similar type of video with Arnold Schwarzenegger, but would gladly trade that experience for this one. To get to work with Paul would be career validation!
jpb2
Never knew about the inspiration for "Let It Be". Wow!
old school
The UK sound teams who did this shoot get an A+'s in my opinion. As for the content, well Sir Paul and J C are top level talent. Really well done all. CrewC

Sound Intuition
I wonder if the sound team that do these could chime in on what the setup is? I feel like I need to take a trip to London to learn how to do car rigs.

soundmanjohn
James Corden isn't the only one who gets to muck about with Paul McCartney in Liverpool. And I got to wear a silly hat.

soundmanjohn
Receiving a Companionship at the Liverpool Institute Of Performing Arts last month. Sir Paul turns up every year and greets every graduate personally: 250+ this year. I got this honorary thing for still being alive, still working and giving the odd lecture to the students. A fun couple of days, although being platform-bound for nearly three hours whilst 250 graduates filed past was a tad taxing, but at least I didn't have to kiss/shake hands with them all, like he did. Oh, and the psychedelic sneakers bottom left belong to Nile Rodgers, who got his award at the same ceremony. John

Jim Feeley
That is so awesome John! Congratulations! Also: Nile was probably jonesing for your hat. :-)
soundmanjohn
My lectures are very odd indeed! Actually, Niles put his Companion hat on top of the hat he was already wearing and still managed to look cool: an extremely nice chap, I thought. (We did have to give the gowns and hats back after the ceremony, though, so they can use them again next time,) Thanks for the congrats, folks. John Blankenship
Big congrats to John! "Giving back" adds such value to the community. Also props to Sir Paul as a human being and dedicated musician who continues to inspire.
