Johnny Karlsson Posted July 26, 2022 Report Posted July 26, 2022 Last week on a shoot with 3x Venice 2, levels randomly vanished from the monitors. Both myself and DIT thought my reference hop batteries had died, but the receivers were still going, and level was showing on the side display on the camera body. Moments later, level was suddenly showing on the monitors again. DIT commented that the camera is still new and things probably will get better in upcoming firmware updates. Apparently, there were other issues they were dealing with on these cameras. Quote
Matthias Richter Posted September 30, 2022 Report Posted September 30, 2022 shooting CUs with a short lense on a Venice - the fan noise is driving me nuts. If I understood correctly (and if the cam 1st AC did not bullshit me 😉 ) if you want to use the full 6k def or 4k 2.39 you cannot have lookaround space around your frame. It is limited to some format only (3k and 4k 4/3, Sony calls it "Surround view") It was annoying not to be able to give frame and/or warning to my boom op using my own video monitor. Once you see the boom in, it is in... Quote
