I know things vary depending on the deliverable requirements but traditionally if you received separate file, a Stereo and a 5.1 mix would one need to create 2 Master exports: 1. The film with the Stereo mix 2. The film with the 5.1 mix Or would you export with all the files together so you end up with 1 video file with both mixes, and then whatever project they need to create (blu ray, DVD, DCP, or digital file) they can select which audio tracks to use? Side note: I also received a 5.1 interleaved file, the sound folks said I can just use that file and it will default to 5.1 or stereo depending on the viewers system? Is this true?
