lyrnxG
https://www.lectrosonics.com/US/Recorder-Accessories/product/rps4.html Cool product lectro gang. Id like to know more about the fans. What kind of noise would these emit? Any shut off or speed settings? Thanks!
karlw
The fans run at a low speed are very quiet - I can barely hear them when the unit is on and running for a while. There is no user control of the fans.
recordist
Very excited about this. Keen to clean up the rear of my racks. Any plans for an RPS8??
karlw
No plans for an RPS8 at this time - it would likely take 2 rack spaces, not sure it would be a practical solution vs. two RPS4.

Since each power supply has to be capable of handling the full load (otherwise it's not redundant) each RPS8 power supply would need to be able to put out 12 Amps continuously with some safety margin. That gets to be a fairly hefty 15 Amp pair of supplies with bigger fans (the kiss of death). Or you could use 4 power supplies in one box which gets you back to just buying two RPS4's. Also, the market for an RPS8 would be much smaller than the small RSP4 market. Finally, the few people that truly need an RPS8 can certainly afford to buy two RPS4's. Eight Venue racks is a lot of wireless. Best Regards, Larry Fisher
VASI
Is there a picture from the back?
Jeff Wexler
There is a graphic (appears to not be a photo) on the Trew Audio website.
LarryF
Thanks Jeff. Also, there are rear pictures on the Lectro site in the data sheet pdf and the manual pdf. They have a little better resolution. https://www.lectrosonics.com/US/phocadownload/RPS4_td.pdf Best Regards, Larry Fisher

I also have a rack of 8 x IFBT4 which could benefit from this. Thank you, fantastic looking product.
