al mcguire
I owe Burt Reynolds big time. I was changing my career focus from music recording to production sound when he brought BL Stryker to Florida in the late 80's. I worked 12 - 2 hour movies with him that turned out to be my location sound grad school. A gentle man, I never heard him yell unless it was in the script. Thank you Burt. old school
Nice memory Al. So many of my friends worked with him. Sorry I didn't I never heard a negative in town like too many actors carry. While I was never a fan, he did have what all the greats have, they play themselves. I salute that. Thanks for sharing. RPSharman
Worked with him on a movie once (Citizen Ruth - I think it was called eventually). And I recorded an interview with him at ASC when they were honoring his DP. Each time was a total pleasure. I was and am a fan. I've not been star struck too many times in my life, but Burt was certainly one of them.
