mirko
Hello I use Zaxcom Fusion for many years and yesterday for the first time I lost an entire folder from the primary card. I had formatted the card regularly. I recorded some wild tracks, 20 segments. Until here, no problem. In the end I put the last recording into play, just for control. The recorder gave me an error and crashed. I turned it off and on. The folder with its contents had disappeared. I opened the card with zaxconverter but does not see any folders. You know how to recover files or I have to give up hope. Thanks in advance.
howy
We have seen this happen when using an after market drive caddy that does not have shielding to protect the drive's electronics but since you are using a fusion this does not apply. What kind of card is it? You can try using zaxfile505.exe which will recover the entire primary CF card... https://zaxcom.com/software_update/zaxfile-deva-recover-utility-v5-05 -howy
Martin Jelovsek
How old was the card? I had problem with one card that I “used too long” ... Try the software Howy recommends if it can recover the files for you. Martin
