dgirtsman
Seeing as how most of you have only been doing this for twenty years or so, I thought I'd share one of my helpful tutorials. You're welcome!

Matthew Steel
I prefer the AKG C34 because it can do stereo. If you have the right rig you can route the signal from each of the four "virtual capsules" to its own wireless transmitter. That way you can wait until post to decide if you want to do mid-side. Trey LaCroix
My favorite lav is the Schoeps BLM 3G. Way easier to hide than a Shure 57.

Jay Rose
I'm kind of disappointed that he didn't discuss choice of wireless. I prefer this one. But you can avoid the link entirely, if you place the camera mic where he recommends. That's why all the really good cameras have a built-in zoom mic. Added advantage: the camera won't see the mic at all!
Glyn
Looks like a great technique provided the talent is will to wear all dark colours and the shoot is a noir shadowy type film. Will keep this in mind for my next corporate shoot. Thanks.
