syncsound
Anyone encounter this? Likely a proximity issue, but looking for any and all info. When walkies are keyed near me, I get lit up with huge bursts of white noise along with some screeching tones. Using PSC fins, six packs, and lectro SR-Cs. syncsound
The walkies are in the 400 mhz range and I don't have any bandpass prior to the six packs.
ProSound
What frequency are your SRC in? How old are your SRC
syncsound
SRC are B1 (blks 21-23), and less than a year old. I did verify that the walkies are operating at 4W.
Mungo
4 Watts is very much. In proximity will kill every RF as well as every unbalanced audio signal.
Johnny Karlsson
There is a known issue with some SRCs getting interference from out-of-band frequencies from Walkies. There are threads on this forum discussing it. I had similar problems with one (just like your's in B Band) sent it in into the mothership, and they gave it an overhaul under warranty. Contact Lectro, they will get you sorted.
Mark LeBlanc
This is also happening to my Venue and Microns. Not limited to SRC. Our walkies are transmitting in the 430 range. I will get a clear hit at 556. Not a harmonic just flat out spray. Add to this everyone on set being wireless and it can be a nightmare
hobbiesodd
I use a six pack with blocks 19/20/21 and have never experienced walkie interference from the dozens of Motorola’s we use. Cheers, Evan

Derek H
I’d also get in touch with Ron at PSC and see what he has to say.
