480sound
This is the quietest practical fire apparatus I have ever worked with. The flame is nearly completely silent. It belongs to Prop Master Randy Moore. The first time I worked with it was on Cosmos season 3. We had a scene with a line of fire pits that the host had to walk past. The flame was at least 2 - 3 feet high coming out of caldrons. Not a sound except for an occasional snap from the flame in the wind. Because the gas is allowed to come out of so many holes there is no pressure driving the flame causing the hissing sound.
