alidav Posted November 25, 2018 Report Share Posted November 25, 2018 I have 2 Lectrosonics UCR 411, (block 26 -29) and several Sennheiser EK 100 G2, G3 and 2000, the latter are all with sma connector with external whip antennas, what do I need to combine all of them and use with a shark directional antenna? can I do it? alidav Posted November 25, 2018 Author Report Share Posted November 25, 2018 can I combine the ucr 411s with sennheisers g2, g3, 2000 on the PSC RF Multi SMA, considering that lectros are diversity while all Sennheiser I have just one sma antenna wired on each? Philip Perkins Posted November 25, 2018 Report Share Posted November 25, 2018 I'd give it a shot. You need a two channel rig like the PSC box shown (or 2 passive splitters like MiniCircuits) for the Lectros, but you can only hook up one of the antennas of the Senns, as you said, since the other side is the shield of the lav mic line. But if remoting the antennas is your aim then it still might be worth trying out. I'm not totally convinced that you'll see the same range improvement with the Senns hooked up this way as you'll see for sure with the Lectros.
