Johnniespaceboy
LI’ve got 4 block 22 lectro 300’s from what I’ve been told they are the european version of the lectro 205d. Now the guy who sold them to me said they were used at the bbc I’m assuming in studio as they came in a rack mount. When I bought them only the first 4 channels on both the receiver and transmitter would work, I could switch between the 4 channels but nothing else, possibly they were set the fixed frequencies since they were in a studio? Anyway I used and abused them all summer outside in Vegas heat on tv show filming in the desert and the performed flawlessly, I never needed to change channels as I would just change receivers if I hit a problem as I rarely had more then 2 people mic’ed at a time. Now when I use all of them at once I’ll have the same transmitter on 2 receivers..... even though they’re supposedly on separate channels..... so do these go out of tune? Is it possible they drifted or something? Also why do only 4 channels work.... Lectro said to send them in but it’s a 5 week min wait time...... any one got any ideas.....? Get a manual from Lectro--or just call them and ask them about tuning? Maybe some of the units are on the same freq?
jason porter
Do you mean ucr301? They can have frequencies locked (not really, but a custom group of frequencies programmed) I don't believe the 300 (or 205, etc) can be manually programmed like that...maybe they can with some board-level tampering. Johnniespaceboy
No not a ucr301 it’s old school on off switch and little red lights ..... I can only assume someone custom did the frequencies for whatever reason too random all 4 would have the same issue, curious if it’s just the transmitters or only the receivers or all of it? Guess I’ll just have to bite the bullet and get it over to lectro.
