Bubblebee DPA 406X concealer review

Bublebee industries new DPA 406X concealer is the best one I have tried to this day. Softer flexible material is so much better for sticking on the inside of Tshirts without an obvious fabric bends and on uneven surfaces. The tape is the usual best we expect from Bubblebee. The metal buffer helps a lot keeping noisy objects away and the metal clip “ the design of which came from the design of the DPA slim and concealer “ is very easy for a corporate work compared to a old school regular clip. You can also clip on the inside of shirts “ for VIP people who do not want tape on their expansive clothing. I don’t see a reason to use the original Dpa concealers any more.
Another top notch top quality release from Bubblebee Industries.
Thank You BB

I'm assuming the wire clips can be removed if needed.

I found the wire loop on the Slim concealers to be the most microphonic part of that concealer. To be honest I'm not a fan of the DPA Slim's concealer.

Will have to give the new Bumblebees a try when my local dealer gets some in.

As always thanks for the write up.

You can see it is removed on one of the pictures. But on the Bubblebee it is soft rubber so it does attach silently and more secure.

I actually like it on for certain wardrobe.

Hello

im trying to use the Bumblebee lav concealer but I can’t get a simple t-shirt with a cos 11 to work without fabric rustling sounds

I feel like I’m just missing a tip or two…

I haven’t tried the heavy fur yet, it’s coming on Tuesday

and thank  you for any suggestions

Sometimes it can be quite neat to use overcovers, not as windcovers, but as spacers. A bumblebee with an overcover on the mount (lower down) can  help if you dont get the mount to work by itself.

Bummer you’re having difficulty with the BBI concealers. I’ve been using them for awhile now and absolutely love them. I mainly use them with my DPA 6061’s and 4061’s with no issues at all on T Shirts, ties mounts, bra’s etc. I have used them with Sanken Cos-11’s a few times  and usually remove the front bumper wire thing - so it’s only the Rubber mount -  just because I feel it’s bulky on that lav size, but always had the same results, just perfect.

+ 1 on the spacer method w/ an Overcover as well.
