I am experienced but I do not have any documents supporting my experience. If so, is there any online-courses that is recommended? Philip Perkins Posted February 17, 2019 Report Share Posted February 17, 2019 I've never heard of it being asked about by clients, but some post folks list it on their resumes and websites etc. It might be more of a thing for looking for a position at a big post facility, vs something filmmakers care about (or even know about). I hired a person that spent 2 years getting Protools certifications, knew it inside and out, but had no clue what to do with it. After 29 years using it, there are functions of Protools that I don't even know about, so I probably couldn't pass the certification!! And more importantly, things you learn one a project and working with other people are 100xtimes more important and useful than any PT Certificate.
