Sennheiser G4/Zoom F8 Problems

Hi all,

I have 4 sets of Sennheiser G4s and a Zoom F8n:

2 lots of the 100 series with ME2 mics

2 lots of the 500 series with MKE2 Mics

Ive been using them all together for over a year when all of a sudden mic input 3 on my zoom f8 wont pick up a signal from either of the 100 series receivers but works fine when either 500 series are plugged in. Its not the cables, the settings have not changed as far as i can tell on either the F8 or the sennheiser.  Im lost??? This happened after i had re-tuned them all to new frequencies. I've checked that there are no frequency overlaps, it also happens if i turn the remaining 3 sets off.

Help!

Phantom power on input 3 or leakage of phantom power to input 3? You might check between pins 1 and 2 and 1 and 3 for voltage or stray voltage. Recorders are not my field of expertise, however.

The 100 series Rx are unbalanced,  I do not know, but the 500 series Rx  maybe have a balanced out. If so.. unbalanced v. balanced is a clue. Have you tried the 1/4" input with TRS and TS adapters? Otherwise a compromised input of the F8n. If the same behavior on (mixed & matched), I would suspect an RF issue.
