I got this expensive one, and using 1 week.

My impressions in a bulleted list.

😀good point

・ADC,DAC,Mic, Headphone amp...Quite transparent and good sound quality.

・139dB dynamic range by Dual ADC.(maybe technology like Sonosax and Zaxcom )

・Compact as RME Babyface Pro.

・Frexible routing in AES67

・Web-based monitor controller and configulator.(You can access with browser.)

・It can control from iOS and Android.

・Locking AC adapter and PoE Powering.

I liked Anubis monitor control very much.
Because I don't have to call a huge software mixer.

😫not good point

・Hot chassis (force shutdown in 66 °C/150.8°F but it have 44°C / in room temperature.)

・Firmware is under construction yet.(it did not support DSD yet)

・Slow switching sampling rate.(Annoying when cleaning up many footage with iZotope RX7)

・bugs(sometime appears)

Many of the problems should disappear with a firmware update probably.

Currently, Egyptian god of the underworld sits at my desk and controls the monitoring.

My only concerns are when the Ra units are released - will they be compatible?

Terrible joke, sorry! I must mention here that I was very interested in the Hapi when that came out. I'd be interested in write ups on any of the Merging units. Inari, are you a Pyramix user too?

Not to be “That Guy” but Anubis is the god of the dead and not the god of the underworld. Osiris is the god of the underworld.

I'm glad that Egyptian mythology class I took in college is finally Corning in handy.

I've ordered an Anubis premium yesterday.

Couldn't resist as I already  a Hapi.

It came with Pyramix essentials and I must say that it has proven to be a very reliable multitrack recorder and the source destination editing is a nice workflow for certain styles of music. It has a way more up it's sleeve but you'll have to spend some time with it to get to know all it's 'secrets'.

Yesterday I also installed a hirose plug on the hapi so it can run of the grid.

Looking forward to use them side by side!

And what resultz? Can you tell how are you using Anubis with 96 and 192 khz? How many VST you can load  at minimal buffer size? Can you send 8 separate channels from the Daw to all Anubis Outs? Can you rec DSd with Sound it Pro?
