Philip Perkins Posted September 9, 2019 Report Posted September 9, 2019 My daughter Roxie wrote the story and libretto for the 2019 Pulitzer Prize winning opera p r i s m. The prize, post the premiere in NYC, got them a run at the magnificent Teatro Municipal in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Here's a pic from a singer's POV during soundcheck in the hall. The composer, Ellen Reid is in white in the center aisle, and Roxie is seated back row right. It's been quite an experience, tremendous ovations and support from the locals.
