jason porter
I just wanted to chime in to say that I just picked up a couple Neopax ankle and waist bands and the COS-11 vampire clips. Both products are great. The vampire clip holds my Sankens very firmly, but they also release the mic with enough tension. The Neopax work very well, much better than anything else I have ever tried. I would like to make a velcro "cover" to protect the top of the Tx from sweat and other contaminants. -Jason
gpiegari
I often mount the neopack upside down for this reason. I use two of the velcro strips to secure the xmitter for extra security. And of course, the non-lubricated condom still has it's day occasionally... Glen Piegari
Derek H
About the cos-11 vamp clip.. did you get the "short" or "long" version? I recently ordered some from coffey and was presented with these two choices.. I went for the long but they have yet to arrive. -d
soundtrane
from my experience, one needs both kinds... -vin
jason porter
I received the "long version" but I took a knife to one and chopped it down to expose the mesh part of the mic. Otherwise it was flush to the top of the mic, which sounded OK, but just made me uneasy... It has been in use everyday since I got it and hasn't pulled out even once! -JP
