nicoproson
Hello, I'm having an issue with a SWIT NP-1 battery (S-8073N). I left by accident an MCR42 receiver on, until the battery got fully discharged. Since then the battery won't charge anymore. Is there anything I can try to bring it back to life or have I damaged the internal circuit board for good ? Thanks, Nicolas
Constantin
I have the same situation. I have a bunch of no-name NP-1s and when they die in a similar way, I can bring them back in my IDX KL4 charger. Their own Axcom charger can’t revive them. However, my Swit batteries will not charge in the IDX charger and this remain dead. Now we need a charger like the IDX but for Swit batteries... Solid Goldberger
Not sure which charger you are using for the Swit batteries, but if your batteries are the ones with the P-tap, try using those chargers that utilize that input. If you don't have one, they're very cheap, and a great addition to any travel kit that uses those batteries.
nicoproson
Thank you, I'm going to try the D-tape charger.
