tourtelot
I am trying to get rid of a little noise in my headphone feed to my boom ops. Traced back to inverter noise (and generally, these inverters are VERY quiet. This is a nitpick.) Anyone tried the Ebtech HumX AC line noise filter on their inverter? Thanks. D. tourtelot
Hmmm. Or should I say "huuuum." I'll report back on my outcome with the Ebtech HumX even though I am the only one to have any hums in my rig. Who knows when someone else might catch it<g>. BTW, I have spent maybe twelve years taking hums and buzzes out of large packages of dis-similar equipment, and I admit to being a bit obsessed. But why should the boommen have to listen to a hum all day that would drive me nuts in an hour? Back to the laboratory!
tourtelot
Oh yes. And I thank God every working day that there is no noise in the recording chain. I wouldn't get to be as casual about that, right? D.
