jayhartigan
Looking at the Excel sheet listing most major market cities it looks like block 20 is totally unavailable in Atlanta. Can anyone give any more information about Block 20 in Atlanta? City_by_City.xlsx
ProSound
19 20 21 are all very full and difficult to use. 22 and 23 are my go to blocks when I go to Atlanta
jayhartigan
I'm hoping to pull one IFB and possibly two mics for close range use.

You should be able to make that work depending upon where in town you are

I use my IFB on block 20 here in Atlanta, and have solid performance. Atlanta and surrounding area is a big place which part?
BudRaymond
Do you have powered antenna with variable amplitude? If you're operating in close range try turning off the amplification for better results. Lowering the noise floor will allow your wireless to be heard. I've even removed the antennas completely when congestion is really bad and I can keep the receivers 5-10' away.
jayhartigan
Now that I’m here I find the City to City spreadsheet overstates the RF saturation in Atlanta. Block 20 Lectro 00-77 is full. (523.000-523.900) It’s clear 77-BA. BA-BD has RF to avoid (530.600-530.900). It’s clear from (530.900-536.100) BD-F1. F1-FF is unavailable. Not too bad.
