TomBoisseau
Ah! I remember those. My brother (a former sound guy) used to have a pair of A7's in his living room for his stereo speakers.

Have some issues with mild winds though, but I did a lot of televised stuff with this kit and all my boomen loved it. Great compromise for fast inside - outside stuff, and we had a lot this year. I was a little bit dissapointed that I had to go to a shotgun and zeppelin solution too often outside, because I couldn't trust it completely. I'm looking into getting the CS-M1 for video. What was the issue w/ using it outside - the wind screen was fussy/noisy? Did you find a solution to that? I'm mainly going to be shooting in outdoor and uncontrolled environments. Also, how is the range on the CS-M1? Say, compared to a CS-3e?

EmRR
Gotta be this, late 1930's RCA line amp, chassis and front louvres chromed. Has front door that folds down to access tubes, and the chassis is hinged at the rear so it can fold open for service without taking it out of the rack. I have a pair that I use as mic preamps or mix bus amps in R&R recording work. Definitely NOT for field work!
