RIP - Sir Alan Parker

I agree, another great one, gone. His partnership with Alan Marshall was something that truly worked. I was lucky enough to be an old fashioned apprentice at Pinewood Studios back in the 70's and 80's. I managed to work on some of his early films including Fame, Shoot the Moon, Birdy and my personal favorite The Wall. I was so lucky to be in such a place learning my craft during that time of the British Film Industry.
