Richard Lightstone, CAS
I'm cross posting (RAMPS) this interesting "tool" to mount mics in hair or wigs. It's called "Snapper" http://www.noyztoyz.nl/Noyz_Toyz_Audio/NoyzToyz.html RL

rich
i got a couple recently. job i just finished, i tried them out when one of the actors was wearing a long wig. it held the mic in securely all day which was great. but the make up girl said the clip was difficult to close without pushing firmly against the actors head which isnt ideal. but not yet had the chance to actually try this myself. though it may work to have the first snapper just behind the mic and with the cable wrapped around the rubber like in the strain relief which may also make it easier to close the clip fits my dpa 4063 and should be fine for most mikes
gabi
The guy is selling a pack of 2 of these for 19,50 euro. You can buy 30 toupeé clips for US$ 6. Of course you have to tie a piece of elastic between the holes they have on either side. Takes some patience. Check this out: http://www.brightandloud.com/microphone-placement Save some money.
