Noah Timan
Hi all, Investigating a new, small 12VDC worklight for a cart. I'm familiar with the Littlite family of products, but curious if anyone's found alternatives or things they like better. Thanks!

RPSharman
http://www.jr.com/hosa/pe/HOS_LTE503BNC/ This is what I have plugged into my mixer. Much less expensive, and the bulbs are different colors offering a warmer color of light. http://www.pegasusassociates.com/BarbecueLight8LEDs.html This provides light for my follow cart. It's a bit spotty, so I carefully taped some 250 diffusion over it, and it works beautifully. Not 12v, but I use rechargeable AA or kill off my partially used AA Lithiums for when I might have them kicking around. The description of this reads AAA batteries, so perhaps my model is a little different, but you get the idea. And for extra light for script sides, in the "bag", or other quick applications, this cannot be beat - I have tried many, and have given them away to scripties when they seem to be having trouble with theirs. They all comment how it's the best one they have used. They even have a 2-headed one, which is pretty cool. http://www.mightybright.com/Book_Lights/24/ProductDetail.html Robert
johngooch
I tried these from IKEA http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50119407 Cut off the wall wart, installed a 4 pin xlr and plugged it into powermax. Very low profile. Power can be distributed to 4 light bars via their mini hub. I've been running mostly AC with these so i do not have an idea of power drain. Might look too much like a christmas lights for some but it is nice bright light. I even installed a bar inside my cart drawer. john.
