Mix Pre & leaked batteries

So i left batteries in my Mix Pre (old school analog) and they leaked. Now it doesn't work. (No power)

Is there something i can do myself to bring it back to life or is this for someone with intricate knowledge of the mixer? Would aappreciate any help.

(and i know, it was a dumb move to leave them in when storing it)

Cheers,

Peter

Jason,

I do have access. So it's a conductivity problem?

What's the ideal cleaner to use?

It is possible that some of the electronics were damaged from the corrosion, but I think the corrosion should be contained to the battery tube.
