bleueblancrouge
So i left batteries in my Mix Pre (old school analog) and they leaked. Now it doesn't work. (No power) Is there something i can do myself to bring it back to life or is this for someone with intricate knowledge of the mixer? Would aappreciate any help. (and i know, it was a dumb move to leave them in when storing it) Cheers, Peter
jason porter
If you can see and access the battery tube, you might be able to clean off the corrosion.
bleueblancrouge
Jason, I do have access. So it's a conductivity problem? What's the ideal cleaner to use?

Christian Spaeth
I had this happen in a MM1. You can fix it. Put some contact spray onto a long cotton swab and get to work in the battery tube. Once the contacts are clean it will work again. Good luck!
