Joe Riggs
Hello, Working with media from some PDRs, inside the folder is the WAV file but also a number of other files named PDRSPACE. For offloading the media are these PDRSPACE files needed in addition to WAV file or are they just place holders (they take up 30 gigs of space)? DanieldH
It seems it is pre allocated free space the firmware wishes to define as a file or that file merely exists to render an output the space left to the user interface . But for the fun of it, format the media, record a small *.wav, mount the media on some Windows or Unix and zip/tar/rar/7z the PDRSPACE file. It will probably become very small and you'll just have created your own little zip bomb.
