Betso Bowtie DC voltage blocking?

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I have searched this website and have read both manuals and it is still unclear. While I wait for a response from Betso tech support, can anyone confirm if the Betso Bowties have DC voltage blocking circuitry built in? I want to know if I can use the Bowties with a Shure UA845 which supplies 12VDC on the BNC antenna inputs.

I also have the older SNA600 which I know can be damaged when connected to a BNC jack that has a DC voltage across it's pins. Wondering if the same risk exists with the Betso Bowtie?
