Recommendation for a Power Supply for Sound Devices MM-1?

My MM-1 had a coax DC power connection.

So if that is the case here, practically any PS which outputs 5-17 VDC with a 5.5 x 2.1mm coax plug will work and has a half amp or more would  be sufficient.  A screw lock coax plug would be more secuIre.  A Lecto portable Rx PS should work, has a screw lock plug and is within the voltage range.

That said, I always powered it with rechargeable batteries which lasted a long time

2x AA Eneloops is always fine! Unless you're basing it on your cart? (or bag?) Then just the usual 12V out of your BDS will be fine.

Exactly, if you're planning for it to be worn, don't go even bulkier!!

I definitely wouldn't add external power for booming. I actually like the sound of the preamp for a front end in my studio and would like to get away from batteries for this use.
