Miles
Hey All! First post on here... Trying to track down an issue I'm having with my Rodecaster Pro. I have a Deity V-Mic D3 Pro shotgun mic and I'm trying to run it into my Rodecaster Pro with the Deity D-XLR adapter. I've tried a number of different cables and with/without phantom power, but I can't for the life of me get this to work. Any ideas? Is this just not something I can do with the Rodecaster? kavenzmann
You'll need 48V phantom power to run the V-Mic via the D-XLR adapter. That should theoretically just work. See here: https://deitymic.com/d-xlr/
Miles
Yeah, that's what I thought too... The Rodecaster Pro provides 48V phantom power, but it's not workin' at all. I have even tried a few different TRS/TRRS cables and nothin'. So odd.
Andrew From Deity
Did you turn the microphone on by holding the low cut filter down for 3 seconds?
