Jim Feeley
I was tempted to add this to the Gallery of Sound Carts. But I bet someone else already has. (ht to Jason DeGraw who posted this on Facebook). Everything old is new again.

JonG
It wouldn’t be quite so attractive of an advert if they showed you all the wires and power cables that would be needed to make this work.

They used 1950s wireless technology, as shown in the picture: Wife-Eye.

codyman
The wife and I just started watching "Mad Men" for the first time. Needless to say, other than the great furniture and three martini lunches, ~1960 sure would NOT have been a swell time for most of us 21st century folks... Jim Feeley
Related, I think I see some wheels/casters under this, so it counts as a cart, right? #itsjustsocool

It's getting harder and harder to find folks that work on tube gear that's for sure so it's always nice to see someone going above and beyond to keep pieces like this both alive and put to use! Billy Zoom, the guitarist from the punk band X, has a little shop around the corner from me here in Orange and all he does is repair and modify tube amps (mostly instrument amps though). Hopefully these guys who built and repaired these pieces of kit are passing it along to the newer generations as I'd hate these things to be only museum pieces that are unused!
