Ira Seigel
I'd like to find a bag (preferably) or case for one of these Sound Devices recorders, plus its AC power supply. I've looked through the usual culprits - PortaBrace, K-Tek, Orca - but I couldn't find anything that looks like it would fit. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks. sciproductions
Is this for using in a sound bag or just for transportation? Because its a rack mount recorder (generally speaking), there won't be any bags that will actually fit it properly. But looking at its specs it is roughly the same height as a SD 788T with CL/8. So maybe look in that direction and get it customized.
IronFilm
Why not get one of those 2RU bag/racks? The SD970 would fit perfectly on one side, leaving the other half free to store whatever else you need.

Thanks for the suggestion on the 788T/CL8. Great idea! 7 hours ago, IronFilm said: Why not get one of those 2RU bag/racks? Plenty of room for a (Dante) switch, mini-keyboard, cans, too. Cheers.
