Mark Owens
Is it hard to convert the "K-Tek K152CCR Klassic 5-Section Boompole with Stereo 5pin XLR Cable" to a normal 3 pin XLR connection? What do I need? thanks

No, this shouldn’t be hard. Re-terminate both ends as desired. Be mindful of continuity.

Matt Morris
You can adapt with Neutrik barrel adapters if it's a temp thing. NA3M5F or NA3F5M. The latter is labelled as for DMX use but is wired right (as far as I can remember).
TomBoisseau
Be cautious! As I remember there are two different 5 pin XLR versions with different pin spacing. They look very similar, and may seem at first able to connect to each other, but they are different and you will find, as you push them together, that it will be very difficult (pretty much impossible) to completely "seat" them.
