humbuk
Please, dó you have experience with MTP40S + PHA48 as a transmitter on the boompole? Does it have any disadvantages compared to MTB40S? I mean especially in sound quality, sensitivity adjustment options ....? The only disadvantage I see in the extra cable and the extra box, but the result is lighter than the MTB40S.
MikeCorl
While I don't have specific experience with these two products, though I do currently have the two transmitters on order, I would say that conventionally minimizing additional points of failure is the upside of the MTB40S. The MTB40S also about $250 USD cheaper than the MTP40S alone. I would also imagine that with the CAL48 cable it ends up being the same weight or slightly heavier. The MTP40s is ~138g with the battery and the PHA48 is 100g and the MTB40s is 250g with the battery. I can't find the weight spec for the CAL48, but I would believe it's more than 12g.
