Hi

I have problem with my DPA 4017B when working with SONY DWT-P01 transmitter. When I'm using 10 or 50 mW I have digital RFI especially on my Cinela Pianissimo.

Does anybody have some solution for this problem.

Thanks

in the XLR connectors of the PIanissimo, break the connection between pin 1 and the shell, so that there is no connection to the shell, only pin 1.
i did this to mine and it fixed issues i was having with my A10 transmitters.

Maybe this trick is a line of the famous "Pin 1 problem" defined by the AES. Thank you "rich" for this reminder.

@Ivica, in case it doesn't work, please let me know in PM or directly on this thread. We may have another option...

I’m using a DPA 4017B and a Sony DWT-P01 and I haven’t had any problem at all.

The plug-on is mostly connected to the bottom of my KTEK boom, but I have also had the plug-on connected directly to the microphone with no added noise or interference.

To always have good coverage, I have it set to 50mW.

So it’s probably a problem with the cable.

Cheers

Fred
