XLR-F that mounts to 1/4-20 or 3/8-16? Or mini-XLR to XLR-F cable/rig that mounts?

So I'm coming across  cameras with mini-XLR connectors. Blackmagic Pocket Cinema, Canon C70, probably more down the line. I'd like a way to add a mini-XLR to XLR-F adapter cable, but with some strain relief. Is there some way to connect the XLR-F to a camera cage or cheese plate or something?

I know there's the Wooden Camera A-Box but I want a single XLR connector and something a bit smaller. I've poked through Mouser, Neutrik's site, and elsewhere but haven't come across anything else. Looking for something more stable than zip ties, less permanent than welding... Would love something someone else has already made, but I can assemble a cable if people just point me to the right bits...

So what am I missing? What would you recommend?

Here's a picture of the Wooden Camera box:

Smallrig has a bunch of cable clamps that'll mount to cheeseplates and 15mm rods etc.

Doesn't sound like you need They'll also cheerfully listen to design ideas and give you credit and one of the finished product (for ffree).  It seems so cheerful it can't be at all piratical.

Camvate is in that same space, seem to be of identical quality (in my limited experience) and generally has a little wider range of audio-friendly bobs.  Their cable section includes clamps and actual cables.

Cables, for example:

They generally include specs for supported diameters on clamps and things, so you can almost certainly tinkertoy something up.

That Smallrig rod clamp thing is an interesting idea. I'll see if they or someone have something for 19mm rods. Since it looks like the barrel part of a Neutrik (and perhaps most) XLR connector is 19.2mm... I'd need a long barrel (or narrow clamp).  Huh... Thanks Dalton and Barry.

Any other thoughts?

You could get the Ambient QAT-ECO, I have these on all my wired shockmounts. The big end screws onto a Neutrik XLR connector, and the little end slips over the 3/8" threads. You could just screw it into an open 3/8-16 on a camera body, or attach it to some other clamp accessory to get it pointing in the right direction.
