Axel Mishael
Hi, Do any of you work with two (or even more) BST 75-216 Transmitters? do you use the same antenna for both? (let's say the sna600 with the miracle whip) or do you use antenna for every transmitter? Thank you, Axel.
Rick Reineke
For optimal performance the antennas should be a specific length. As I recall a 5/8 wave wire antenna for a 216 mHz Tx is around 14 inches. 72 mHz would be longer. There are formulas to calculate antennas lengths. Axel Mishael
My question really is if I can use two transmitter (two different channels) in the 216mhz spectrum and both share the same antenna.
Johnny Karlsson
I have read that it’s ok to do with a proper antenna combiner. Personally, I prefer to keep transmitting antennas separated and on different height planes. Probably just voodoo superstition in my part…
Jim Rillie
Not voodoo, Johnny. Just physics. Somehow a combiner works to allow this, but I still believe separate transmitting antennas distanced properly will give better results. just my 2 non-existent Canadian cents
