ENDR
Hi, I have two Venues, I want to loop throught the antenna, if I set the antenna power jumpers on for both unit, could that be a problem? I want to do that, because I use them separatle sometimes as well. But not sure that the Venue can handle that power what it suddenly gets from theother BNC in to it's BNC out. Derek H
You should ask Lectro on this one
Constantin
Derek is right of course, but in the meantime I can say that I think it’s a bad idea. DSQD shuts off bias power when an incoming voltage is applied, which kind of indicates that it’s unhappy about it. I also remember having some trouble with two interconnected devices which both put out bias. But it wasn’t terrible…
Peter Mega
Sounds like a very bad idea. I wouldn’t do it myself. The last thing you want to see is the magic smoke they put in at the factory, come out!
johngooch
I bought a pair of DC bias blockers to protect myself from this very problem.. Never used them-- Happy to offer them up for sale. john.
