I am suspecting the tablet ; many unbranded, low cost tablets claim to have OTG although they do not have it. you can try 2 things : -look for an OTG tester app on the app store and check if there is OTG, -download this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mantz_it.rfanalyzer&hl=fr&gl=US and see if it works. Derek H Posted February 17, 2024 Report Posted February 17, 2024 I had the same error message with an old android phone (Motorola droid turbo) and it just didn’t support OTG fully. Quote

Strangely enoguh, the otg appears to be functioning but it still doesn't work on txadvance... do you have any list of approved tablets that surely works? thanks, Axel. Quote

When you plug a USB stick, can you open it from your tablet? Otherwise, many users are using Samsung Galaxy tab A serie with success. The A7 Lite seems to be quite popular. Quote
Derek H Posted February 18, 2024 Report Posted February 18, 2024 I don’t think there’s an approved list but if I were you I’d try something more mainstream like a Samsung. I’m using it pretty successfully on an old Samsung Tab E which has micro USB. Occasionally the live view mode will crash if I press too many buttons while scanning or if I switch apps and try to come back to it. Otherwise works great and that thing is like 6-7 years old and was pretty basic even when it was new. Quote

It does recognize the usb, I'll try with a proper known tablet, thanks anyway! 1 hour ago, Derek H said: I don’t think there’s an approved list but if I were you I’d try something more mainstream like a Samsung. I can download lists of dozens of frequencies already allocated in my location that currently need to be manually entered. Sorry it took a bit of time but export/import of exclusions is now here!
