552 SD Card Problem

HI

This could be more of a warning about cheep SD cards.

If i turn my 552 off and then back on again it will not see the SD

card until I remove the card and re-insert it. It just says "No SD

card".

I am using an A-DATA 16Gb SDHC card. Is anyone else having this

problem. I know of one other user here in New Zealand having this

problem and am checking with others.

Adam,

Have you tried formatting the A-Data cards in the box?

Can you give me the exact model number of the cards?

Thanks,

---Matt

Hi Matt.

Yep formatted it in the 552. Everything works fine. I just need to reseat the card when ever I turn the mixer on.

The Card is a "ADATA TURBO CLASS 6 SDHC CARD 16GB"

I am still waiting to hear what Sound Devices have to say.

Only had my 552 for a few days but today I had this EXACT same issue

using a Transcend 8GB SDHD Class 6

I dont think this is a card issue.
